Danny & Susie || Engagement Session

Danny and Susie are getting married!!!!  This is so exciting!!  I’m a little jittery as I share this post.  Not only do I get the privilege of sharing their engagement pictures with you, I’ll also have the joy of sharing their wedding collection with you.  Yep, you read that right!  I’m photographing Danny and Susie’s wedding!!  AAaahhhhhhhhhh!! (that is an excited scream btw)  Thats in June.  Only a few weeks away.  Ex.cit.ed is not even an accurate depiction of my emotions.  Danny and Susie are adorable!!  It has been such a joy to watch God at work in their lives for the last few years!  Who knew 3 years ago that He was working the events in their life to prepare them for each other!?!?  Oh, I have goosebumps just thinking about it!!

Melanie is graduating!!!

Vintage, modern, beautiful, and fun…. are words to describe this shoot! Melanie is another friend of mine.  She is quite lovely inside and out, and I love her mucho!!  Melanie asked me to go with her for moral (and humor) support while a professional took her senior pictures. She said I should bring my camera, so why would I say no?!

Josh – Senior 2012

I can’t believe this guy is graduating!  I’ve known Josh ever since I was 6, so that makes it almost 12 years.  Yep, we go back quite a ways!

This shoot was an absolute blast!  Not only was it my first senior photoshoot of the year, it was my first photoshoot of a guy!  I think that having been friends for so long really helped break the ice and relax both of us (eventually).  Just to prepare you…. don’t judge us… we climbed on top of a train!  Yes, you can do that kind of thing with big kids   It wasn’t moving, so you can calm down and continue to breathe now.  I personally loved it!

Congratulations on finishing this season of your education, Josh!  (I envy you lots!) I hope that these next few years are very productive and enjoyable for you.  When you go and move away for college… get a Facebook so we can keep in touch, ok!  Good luck!!

I LOVED this doing session.  I have known the Coopers since I moved to Tennessee 11 years ago.  I was about the size of their daughter at that time.  This is a precious family!!

Shelby || Sweet 16 Portrait Session

So here’s the story.  Shelby and I have know each other for 11+ years… since we were kids, and I mean tiny kids.  (Yeah, that means we are kinda old)  She’s turning 16 in a few days!!… yahoo!!!  We celebrated the last 16 years of her life by taking some pictures.  Love ya Shelby, dear!!
